Private Tutoring Student Terms & Conditions
Thank you for choosing Happy Brain Education to be a part of your academic journey. We're excited to work with you and support you in attaining your goals. Before starting the sessions, please read our terms and conditions below.
Late Arrival and No-show Policy
There will be no rescheduling or discount allotted for late arrival. If the student shows up to the session late but within fifteen (15) minutes of the designated start time, the session will be held for the remainder of the time reserved.
A student is considered a "no-show" if he/she fails to show up to the session within fifteen (15) minutes of the designated start time. If the Client is over fifteen (15) minutes late, the session will be cancelled. There are no refunds or 'make-up' provided for sessions that have not been attended.
Rescheduling and Cancelling
Students may cancel a private session more than 48 hours in advance of the designated start time. This is done by emailing HBE Tutoring and letting them know in writing. Cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance will incur no penalty and will result in a rescheduled lesson.
If you attempt to cancel less than 48 hours before the scheduled session you must either attend the session or forfeit the tuition fee for that session.
All our classes and tutors will endeavour to run on time as scheduled. If a tutor is unable to run a session due to unforeseen circumstances, a make-up session will be scheduled at no cost to the student.
Courses Terms & Conditions
Courses run for the duration of the semester/year. Full payment is required for course access & payment plans can be organised. Attendance to the course is solely the responsibility of the purchaser. Refunds will not be approved due to a change of mind/non-attendance.
